Janice Fuererhelm - Counselor

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University in 2003. I graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in December 2004.

Before graduating, I completed a 6-month practicum with Mental Health/Mental Retardation of Tarrant County working with persons’ suffering from Bi-Polar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and Schizophrenia.

I also completed a 3000-hour internship working with person’s with chronic pain, helping them with a variety of issues including: depression, pain management techniques, coping with grief, addiction, sexual abuse and family/relationship issues.

I have experience working with couples, groups and individuals. I also conduct marriage workshops, and pre-maritial counseling. I am licensed by the State of Texas Licensing Board, License #61213.

 On a personal note:

I am a resident of Burleson and am proud to serve my community through my private practice. I am married since 1999 and have two sons, and two amazing grandsons!

I enjoy reading, camping, fishing, nature, musicals, live theater, music and spending time with family and friends. I also have two dogs and am very much an animal lover. I am a member of Pathway Church in Burleson.  I enjoy serving in various capacities within my church.
